From the audience floor in front of the Makuth throne Asch glared at Peony, then resolutely stared out the window. Beside him, Luke nodded frantically.

"Yes! Yes, we do! Please may we have him?"

Peony grinned at Guy. "What do you say, Count Gardios? Do you consent to this alliance? I've got the most gorgeous ideas for your gown."

Jade wiped away an imaginary tear.

Thank you! Yes, Peony is actually very supportive of diplomatic relations! But it's fun to tease Luke first. :)
