Frings entered the sanctuary frustrated from hours of wanting to yell, to insist the Score wasn't wrong, the earth wasn't crumbling beneath their feet. He stared up at Yulia's tuning-fork, and felt a sudden, overwhelming anger.

This was where he prayed. The warm crystal lamps weren't the candles in his mother's chapel, but they had felt the same. He had believed Yulia was listening, that she knew the answers to his questions, because she'd read them out.

He wanted to break the crystals, destroy the wall-reliefs.

Instead he knelt, face hot, eyes wet, and tried to find his faith again.

Oh Frings, it's not easy keeping or letting go of a faith in a religion that the world had been preaching idealogies that really could care less about your personal happiness/well being; for the last two thousand years even. >_>

It's great to see pieces done on the npc's (ecspecially Abyss's which had some awesome ones). =D

Thank you! Frings' perspective on religion struck me pretty hard when I was writing him for NGP - he's pretty interesting to write for. ^.^

This is a wonderful piece on faith and how it exists on Auldrant.

Thank you! Frings' death scene made me wonder about his views on faith, because he wanted to see a world without the Score, but still chose to die in the sanctuary.
