He takes off his glove before threading his fingers in his hair, damp and cool from the sweat of their afternoon hunt. Hand wrapped in blue brighter than the sky, he keeps stroking his scalp, fingers moving in little circles massaging the skin. He watches the strands fall over his knuckles, hiding the bruise stretched across his palm and smiles up when he catches Chester's tired, questioning look.
His cheek pressed against his shoulder, he says quietly, "I like your hair."
Chester snorts, before his lips lift into a small smile, expression softening as Cless' touch lulls him to sleep.
