"Seriously," Yuri says later, "how do you stand it? Aren't you freezing?"
Judith smiles coyly. "I thought you figured it out earlier."
"Come on, I was just playing along with Captain Karol."
"You didn't believe your own theory?" Judith asks.
"It's ridiculous," Yuri says. "Invisible fur? I mean—" he reaches, expecting her to bat his hand away.
She doesn't. She just waits. So he has to go through with it.
"It's true?" Her stomach feels plush under his hand, almost...fluffy. He has to ask. "Are you furry everywhere?"
The way she grins, he thiks he's about to find out.
