The only reason Farah knew Norma was there was because she tripped over a straw left carelessly dangling out of Norma's hiding spot. She pushed herself up and rubbed at the bump on her head. "Ughhh… Norma? Did you--" Falling had left her on eye level with Norma's spot tucked under a table. "What, seriously?"
Norma grinned a little sheepishly. "Marchin's on the warpath! It's not my fault this time!"
"Uh-huh. What did you do?"
She found out until later, when an unsuspecting Emil showed up to dinner with "I ♥ Shirl" written on his cheek in permanent ink.
